Ever wonder what would happen if you ran a classic AD&D module, for a bunch of story gamers, using the new 4E rules?

My first real story game was played last year at Go Play NW, and have played some since, but don't feel confident running a story game at Go Play NW yet. What I can run with a vengeance is 4E D&D. So in the interest of bringing something to offer at the potluck: I'm bringing the 4E update of the "Village of Homlet".

I'd be down for this. I've played some 3.5 and a few story games - do you think what you're planning would be a good fit for a player with my experience level? Or perhaps you are looking for more experienced 4.0 players.

What slots were you considering for this? Sat-04?

In any case this sounds cool - and bravo for bringing this to the potluck!

I'd be all about this, if its not in one of the slots where I am already playing some form of D&D ;)

Awwe, Village of Hommlett is so cute. I just ran my AD&D group through it. Tell Ostler I said hello.

No experience necessary. I'll bring pre-gen characters. I'm all about teaching the rules to new folks. (Of course you are welcome to bring a twinked-out combat monkey too.)

I hadn't really thought about slot which slot... D&D is still a game about fighting, and we'll probably want one of the longer slots in order to get a satisfying experience. So, Fri-01, Sat-04, or maybe Sat-01 or Sun-01 (if folks are down with ordering pizza or something and playing through...)

I will run this in the Saturday-04 slot if there is enough.

That drops me out, since I'm running my OD&D game in the same slot. But go for it anyway, I'm sure if you put it up on the board, you'll get players
