Thar Be Pickup Games! (spin-off)

What games are you thinking of playing? What games do you want others to run?

Oh, I'm planning to bring LOTS of games. If only because my new shiny iPad has a lot of room for PDFs.

I'm also looking at the threads here verrrrry carefully - in about a week, I'm going to put in an order so I have new shiny games.

I'm willing to run many of the games I've listed off -- some of them I've never played before, but I'm certainly willing to bumble through.

Is there an appropriate thread to request possible games? I'll be in on Fri 01, Sat 03 & Sat 04 and would really like to try Dread, Fiasco & Shock if hosts were available. I could maybe run Primetime Adventures (I own a copy & have run it a few times) but I'd really like to spend at least 2/3 of my sessions playing.

I'm going to lean heavily on my tried and true games

Microscope
Geiger Counter
Shock
I'll run Mars Colony too depending the situation but that's 2-person so less likely to happen as a pick-up - so if MC is your game, join the Mars Colony Mob.

I'll bring my Heroquest Ars Magica mash-up and am thinking about a Faery's Tale game using Puppetland's player-GM narrative conceit, maybe powered some Otherkind dice variation. I've a yen to try a rocketpunk noir using A Dirty World, but don't think I grok the system well enough to riff that one out.

I'll be ready to throw down with:

The Committee for the Exploration of Mysteries
Zombie Cinema
Hell for Leather (a beta playtest of Sebastian Hickey's Running Man-inspired RPG)
House of Cards (an alpha playtest of my quick-play heist game)
and maybe another game or two off my shelf.
