Sunday morning is always a tough slot because people can be burnt out from a day or so of awesome gaming with little gaming.

Which is the perfect time to take a 3-hour slot and try out several short-form (15 mins to an hour each) games. Usually GM-less and usually very storytelling-based or perhaps with roots in Norwegian style (more freeform, less mechanics) play.

In the past we've played:
-It Wasn't Me! (murder mystery in an hour)
-The Believers (a roleplaying poem about alien visitors)
-Gun Smoke (a Norwegian take on Old West TV shows)
-Seance (a roleplaying poem about communing with a dead family member)

So if you'd like to try several new games in one session, come join us! You're almost guaranteed to play something you've never heard of before!

I loved this last year. The Believers in particular was quite good - I've brought it out a few times since then. I'm in!

I'm going to close this game off to "pre-reg interest" since we have five players already. Folks in this thread, I'll add your names to the sign up sheet when it's posted. If you decide not to play, it would be cool if you could cross your name off so someone else can jump in. But really, why would you? Last year Dolly Parton was murdered by CIA-designed explosive breast implants. What's going to happen this year??

Some cool "5 minute games" in this Story Games thread.

Note that these aren't "games that can be played in 5 mins", but "games that took 5 minutes to write":)

But still, feel free to pull out something you'd like to try on Sunday morning.

-Chris

PS I finally got an excuse to write my game 'The Perfect Caper' (on page 2)! Been sitting in my head since last GPNW.
