FRI-01 The Drifter's Escape

I'd like to run The Drifter's Escape on Friday. Anyone interested?

I worked every place the old I-5 goes
and I traveled as freight all over that road
Day after day in the long endless rows

Down through the generations my family made rounds
for to draw the sweet fruit out the dark valley ground
We made honey so bitter, no one could eat
but always we fed on what you gave us to feed

My beautiful sisters I'm wishin them well
though they can no longer taste and no longer smell

All that I'm needin is a valley yet green
Where the water still flows and the flowers are clean
and on the highways and the trains I see rivers of men
I know they seek the same valley, so I'm followin them

Cool. It can support a flexible number of people, but the minimum is three, so we need one more pseudo-firm commitment to launch. Ah, hell, I'm sure Susan and I can rope someone at the last minute.
