Relax and join the The Chargen Circle.

Dig out your favorite random character generation systems, and we'll roll up some characters and see what stories they tell us.

I'm bringing:

• Villains and Vigilantes: My first RPG character was a random and very sad V&V hero (sniff)
• Reign: Chargen, One Roll Engine style
• Traveller (1977): Where the best characters seem to die during chargen
• Maid: The Japanese game of maids, masters and lots of random tables
• Star Trek the RPG (FASA 1983): I think this chargen needs its own zipcode

I'm so in, unless late pickup games need help. I want another shot at giving San Holo a career he can walk away from.

I'm bringing, uh, nothing, because you already have my games! I dare someone to make a Star Trek character. Four hours might not be enough time.

Well damn, you have first edition Star Trek? You should run a session of that game!

I'll probably still be trying to cram one more game in, but I love this idea.

This sounds like a lot of fun. As of right now, I'm a definite maybe. I'll probably bring Hackmaster, and hope my character doesn't die from a pole-ax to the head in fighter-school during character creation.

This sounds like a nice way to end the weekend - count me in.

My copies of the Chivalry and Sorcery books are still packed from the move -- I'll have to dig them out.
