SAT-01 Apocalypse D&D - the Purple Worm Graveyard

Post by tonydowler » May 21st, 2010, 1:13 pm

Venture into the deadly caverns beneath Chaos Mountain, a dungeon full of hideous monster, deadly traps, and mysterious magics. Find the Purple Worm graveyard and recover a fortune in purple ivory!

This is a playtest of Apocalypse D&D, a mashup of Apocalypse World and first edition AD&D.

You do not need to be familiar with Apocalypse World or AD&D to play! Pre-generated characters will be used. If there's demand, I'll be running this game on request all weekend long.

I think we can handle four players for this.

Edit That's "Purple" worm, not "Purpose" worm. Purpose worms are much rarer and harder to defeat.

I saw an early draft of the rules through John, I think I have to be in.

No kidding! Apparently Seattle is a hotbed of D&D. Who knew? :)

Oh yeah, and if anyone wants to look at the latest draft of the rules, it's here:

I'll jump on a stand-by list for this. Sounds cool!

Cool! I'm bringing four different prepped dungeons to Go Play, so time allowing, there should be enough for everyone. :)

I will very likely try to hunt you down for a pickup game of this, Tony.

"Hunt down Tony for a pick-up game" is one of the moves listed in the PDF, Brendan, so you're good there... I may use it, too.
