Re: Go Play NW 2012 Homebrew Festival
I'm sorry to announce that for various reasons, I won't be able to bring the homebrew this year. Part of the reason is that we've decided not to provide beer at the feast this year. We went back and forth on this several times, but the upshot is that extra costs and logistics turned out to be a problem. We have no issue with people bringing their own drinks.

Sooo...I made all this beer. Does this mean I can bring it only if I'm the one drinking it? Or can I "share"?

Well, I'm not actually involved with setting this up, but I imagine it's much more problematic if it's one of the organizers who is making booze available to the participants, as opposed to somebody who just happens to be a participant sharing a few drinks with friends? So as long as you're not, like, setting up a keg right at the catering table it would probably be okay to share with friends? That said, there might be rules about the consumption (or especially distribution) of outside alcohol at on-campus events: Tony?
