Games We Want To Play

What are the games you want to play at GPNW this year? Anything you've been aching to play in / run / have someone explain the mysteries of? I'll go first.

I want to play;
Monsterhearts, Kagematsu, Basic D&D, Microscope, My Daughter the Queen of France, Dungeon World and Anima Prime.

What about you?

All anybody in Portland talked about last year was My Daughter the Queen of France and I want to play it BAD. I want to play Anima Prime too, even though I feel ridiculous for living in the same town as Christian and never getting to hang out with him. Jackson, Kaleidoscope sounds incredible and I want to play that! Also, last year, what was that one game with the deliberately terrible cover art that like ten people sat down to play and they didn't even get around the table once but they said it was hilarious?

That's a pretty great list, Adam. I hope to play many of those prior to GPNW (again or for the first time), but I doubt I wouldn't want to play more.

Continuing in a Seattle vein, I would add Metrofinal and The Regiment to that list.

My main project: I would like to coordinate with and develop a one-shot with a co-Inside/Outside player for How We Came to Live Here between now and then. It would be played in the two consecutive 2.5 hour sessions on Saturday afternoon. If anyone reading this, immediately thinks "YES!!!" then get in touch.

Also, Sagas of the Icelanders.

And Silver and White.

Jesus...

The "one game with the deliberately terrible cover art that like ten people sat down to play and they didn't even get around the table once but they said it was hilarious" was Refuge in Audacity, a game of some repute by Logan Bonner. I was a Moon Goblin Banjomaster. It was very strange.

Idly looking at what other people have been talking about playing at other cons reminded me that I'd like to give PSI*RUN and Murderous Ghosts a whirl, although the latter seems like it's a shorter game from descriptions, maybe better for a pre-or-post slot warmup/cooldown than a full three hours or whatever?

My GPNW 2012 Win Conditions in no particular order:
The Annual Roach Game (no explanation required)
Monsterhearts with Joe (because that was some amazing fun last year)
My Daughter the Queen of France (intriguing!)
Marvel Superheroics (because no one had claimed Ms. Marvel so I did)

Bonus points:
An Apocalypse World session
Dropping a session of Ghost/Echo or Lady Blackbird on some new GPNWesters
Staying open to the inevitable "game I hadn't heard about before that turns out to be amazing fun"

Yeah, MG is something you could run over a meal, easily.
