Fog of D&D

I'm working on a method for D&D with limited player information, trying to simulate a bit of the fog of war. I'm aiming for a bit of the chaos of real combat. Think limited in character communication, all combatants declare actions before initiative is rolled, not all PCs have the full view of the battlefield, etc.
I'll probably use one of the misc retro-clones for it, or maybe Castles and Crusades. I'll probably need 4 hours to make it work well.
Anybody interested?
