(For those who don't know, The Regiment is the Paul Riddle / John Harper Apocalypse powered war joint)

This scenario is called Mission Boston. Players will play paratroopers of the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, dropped into Normandy during the wee hours of D-day. Their orders are to raise hell and pave the way for the beach assault at dawn.

This will be a sandbox scenario with tight time tracking. D-Day was the most meticulously planned assault in history and of course your unit will have a (ridiculous) timetable to keep.

I'm aiming for a Saving Private Ryan vibe, gritty and random. You might very well finish with a different paratrooper than the one you started with.

I have three players committed for this, but would love to add a fourth.

I'd love to play. I've played AW engine games enough, but I'm new to playing in the WWII genre with any game. The chaos of it all is exactly the sort of thing I find interesting though.

Depending on how gritty you make it, you might very well finish with a different roster of players than the one you started with.
