SAT-03 We Can't Go Back [Playtest; 2-4 Players]
Posted: June 20th, 2014, 1:48 pm
We Can't Go Back is about normal people, with families and jobs and responsibilities, pushing back against the darkness -- the paranormal events they can no longer look away from.
Our stories are the intersection of the natural and the supernatural: everyday people taking terrible risks against unknown creatures. And unknown odds.
It's about testing the stability of your relationships, your character, and even your humanity; it’s about discovering how far you'll go to resist the relentless darkness in order to restore the light.
***
Though there is a GM role -- the Darkness -- the game is built to be very collaborative. We'll devote some of our time to character creation because it has significant impact on the game. I brought this out to Go Play last year and both games were enjoyed by all. (Really; they told me.) I've been working on a beta draft since then, but personal stuff has a way of sapping energy.
I also plan to run this more throughout the weekend, so please, I invite you to express any interest you have, even if you're already booked in this slot, and I'll work to make it happen.
If you have any questions, I'd love to hear from you.
