I was thinking of running a Comedic "dungeon crawl" where the party members would be providing the entertainment for a Goblin festival (against their will, of course).
I am most comfortable with D&D 5th edition... but I was thinking people would be more interested in playing a less common system. I was shooting for a more creative and roleplay heavy experience, which D&D allows but doesn't mechanically support. I have enough time to read up on something new, I was just curious if people had any feedback/suggestions in this regard.
I just downloaded an RPG called Risus after reading a relevant Reddit thread... Seems like maybe it would be a good fit. Anyone played it before?

Re: Advice for System to use
I have heard good things about Risus, but have never played it.
Here's a really lightweight Dungeon game suited for comedy that someone came up with on the Story-Games forum:

I'm not sure how much it has been tried out, but it seems like a natural match for wacky hijinx!
