Games You’d like to run (Not a scheduling thread!!)

Are you excited for GPNW 2018? What games are you thinking of playing? What games do you want others to run?

Games You’d like to run (Not a scheduling thread!!)

Hey all!

I am excited for July. So much so I wanted to just see what folks are planning to run, not just what they’d like to see run!

So? What are you planning to schedule?

And I can start:

I am planning to run an Inheritance session at the minimum. If you’re interested in participating, please let me know!

I really enjoy running Mouse Guard RPG, so that’s also a likely candidate.

I also felt a very strong need to see a session of the new Bully Pulpit game, Honor Bound, being run. If it doesn’t get scheduled, I would like to facilitate it, too.

I'm a big fan of both Inheritance and Mouse Guard, so I'll be keeping an eye out for those games! As far as what I'd like to run... hm, I'm not sure. The only thing I've really had in mind so far is Churchill, the semi-cooperative board game about the conferences between the Allied powers in WWII.

So I've posted a separate thread on this, but wanted to plug it here, I'd like to organize a west marches style campaign with other GMs over the conference.

I'm considering bringing a variety of card games (or games with light roleplaying) that could play in an hour or less:

Parsely
For the Queen
Fake Artist Goes to New York
Slash 2
Love Letter

I will likely be prepared to run Primetime Adventures, Masks, and Honey Heist.

The Masks game would include character creation (because its so integral to the experience) and the events that occur during the high school's homecoming game and dance. Masks: Homecoming. I've run Masks quite a bit and this particular "scenario" twice. It would be best with four players.

Honey Heist would be for 4 players as well and would take place at Disneyland. I've run this once before and it went really well.

I'm uncertain as to whether I should officially pitch there here in the forum or wait and do so via the donut. This will be my first Go Play NW, so I'm not sure which would be ideal.

If I can get a copy of it, I'm burning to run the "Mad Scientists Brain-Switching Conference" LARP I playtested in Chicago last month...

Woo, me too! If I play in yours, would you play in mine?

Other games I'd like to run, but might be too scared:
  • Dreams in Darkness, a 3- to 15-player tarot-supported kriegsspiel.
  • Exile, a 3- to 12-player Inheritance-inspired, Blades-mechanized council room game.

Signed up! I want to experience it from inside and out.

I'm bringing:

Far Space LARP/Escape Room, for SAT-02
Beast Hunters 2.0 playtest (probably via donut)
Meridian for journeys wondrous and fantastical, also donut
Night Floors, a Mythos LARP (involves hints to Carcosa, the King in Yellow, etc.), but I'm not sure I can find a slot for that one with everything else going on. Maybe SUN-02.
