SUN-02 Pendragon: The Fall of Roman Britain [4/4] (boardgame)

Post by rafial » June 5th, 2019, 2:13 pm

We will be playing Pendragon: The Fall of Roman Britain from GMT's COIN series. This is a complex board game using GMT's COunter INsurgency system to explore the struggle of the native tribes of Britain against Roman occupation and Anglo-Saxon invaders. It covers the 4th and 5th Centuries A.D. from the first large-scale raids of Irish, Pict, and Saxon raiders, to the establishment of successor kingdoms, both Celtic and Germanic. It adapts the asymmetrical COIN engine to depict the political, military, religious, and economic struggles of Dark Ages Britain.

It's scheduled for SUN-02, but it's likely the game may run into the dinner hour, or be continued in the SUN-03 slot.

Players:

1. Andi Carrison
2. Adam Blinkinsop
3. Wilhelm Fitzpatrick
4. Philip L

Ah, I was thinking of organizing another COIN! I'm glad to see this happening.

I’m interested in this, though I have to say I’d prefer not to go into dinner time. I’m okay with continuing in 03 if needed.

Breaking for dinner is fine by me. I've added you to the list, Philip.
