SAT-03 Root (board game) (3/6 players)

ROOT: A Game of Woodland Might and Right is an asymmetric board game in which different factions of cute anthropomorphic woodland animals strive for control of their woodland home. Each faction uses different tactics to score points, whether by building industry throughout the woodlands, seizing control of forest clearings, or even just “helpfully” bartering and completing odd jobs for the other factions.

For more information, see the BoardGameGeek page; we’ll be using The Riverfolk Expansion as well, so we can have up to six players (including myself).

I have played this game several times, and can teach it to others; I’d call it moderately complex to explain, but fairly easy to understand once the game gets under way. I have not yet played with a full six players before, but have with five, and the game can definitely be completed within the four-hour slot, but expect it will take up most or all of that time, especially if the balance of players are new.

Oh I guess I should include a list!
