SAT-02: Kolob: For Eternity (4 players)

A storytelling RPG, taking the beliefs of the Mormon afterlife to their logical conclusion.

4 players, each playing a real sister wife of Joseph Smith on another planet.

This game has been play tested extensively, and is being judged for The Vernal Star competition by Games To Gather. In any case, it is in the process of being published. As one of the creators of the game, I am able to play the game as intended, as well as answer any questions about it, and accept feedback. Kolob: For Eternity covers some very serious topics, such as afterlife, power dynamics, patriarchy, manipulation, but does so in a lighthearted way. The game is meant to be played through laughter and enjoyment.

Experience with Mormonism or Storytelling RPG's isn't necessary. The game revolves around inter-personal relationships, and includes many seeds for story lines and dialogue.

Yes, we are all full, however, if another 3-4 people express interest, I would be happy to run it again!

What an incredibly fascinating read! I found your take on the LDS faith from a very broad and historically American perspective very interesting and new to me. What you were saying made so much sense; I'd never thought of it from a historical perspective.

Now I am even more pumped!
