Not sure if it's indie enough or story enough to make it in at Go Play (and I certainly won't be offended if it's not) but in my ongoing quest to find a system that can actually do heist (heist gone right, that is, thanks for thinking of Fiasco with me just then) I've wound up at Leverage and despite Logan Bonner's recent help ( http://critical-hits.com/2011/05/09/pla ... -the-faqs/ ) I'm still a bit confused by the system. An unusual experience for me, I can assure you, and one that, frankly, I kind of like.
Anyway, if I can figure it out by July would anyone like to play? And if I can't, is anyone else thinking about running it that I could get in with to learn by playing?

I've been looking at Leverage for a while, and I'd love to try it out.

Re: Leverage
Really anything goes at GPNW. I've played everything from 4th Ed D&D to Carry. Love to try out Leverage - from the descriptions around the 'net is sounds pretty cool.

Well I'll do my best to be ready, then. It'll be a 5 player (+GM me) when the time comes.

I'm also interested! Love the show, read the pdf but never actually played the game, though.

Re: Leverage
I would like to try it sometime, though my issue will be just juggling slots as I hope to run a few things, too, but assuming I am available I will sign up.

Re: Leverage
I am sad to report that I have FAILED in my goal to learn this system well enough to run it in time for Goplay this year.

Re: Leverage
I might not be able to get the materials together in time, but it's possible that I might be able to run a game of this on Saturday or Sunday by reusing the one-shot I wrote up for a friend's birthday (titled, appropriately enough, The Happy Birthday Job).
No guarantees, but we'll see what happens.
