FRI-01 Two Rooms and a Boom (up to 12 players)

Looking for a fun icebreaker after the Friday Night Feast? I'll be happy to run Two Rooms and a Boom for all and sundry. For those of you that aren't familiar with 2R1B, it's a hilarious social deduction/hidden role game in which two rooms, each made up of players secretly belonging to either the Red or Blue Team, swap hostages at the end of each of five rounds. The trick is that one member of the Red Team is playing the Bomber and one member of the Blue Team is playing the President, and at the end of the fifth round, if the Bomber and the President are in the same room, the Red Team wins! From this simple setup, one can quickly begin to fold in new additional roles that quickly add all kinds of new wrinkles to the game. Unlike Mafia or the Resistance, 2R1B is tightly wound - each full game lasts about fifteen minutes - which means that it's easy to duck in and out or play multiple games. I'll be available to facilitate for however long folks feel like playing - hopefully I'll see some of you there!

Wilhelm: That's great! I wouldn't turn down an extra hand with facilitating if you're available, though.

David: I'll only be running it in the Friday night slot, but since each individual game is so short, I plan to run it multiple times within that slot. Basically, I'll stick around for as long as there's interest.
